1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using TraceIron you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, you should not use the app.

TraceIron is intended for a general audience. If you are a minor under the laws of your country of residence, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use it. To use Maestro (the conversational AI companion), you must be at least 13 years of age with parental or legal guardian consent (and 18 years independently) in accordance with OpenAI's terms of service.

Acceptable use of Maestro: you agree not to use Maestro for unlawful or harmful purposes; not to attempt to bypass safety guardrails, perform prompt injection attacks, or extract underlying models or system prompts; and to comply with OpenAI's usage policies. We reserve the right to suspend access to Maestro if abusive conduct is detected.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use TraceIron on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store Usage Rules.

You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or any part of its source code.

How Maestro operates: Maestro is an assistant that communicates in natural language and can perform app actions on your behalf (such as logging sets, creating or editing routines, and managing rest timers). All actions execute locally on your device. Any destructive action (such as deleting items, discarding changes, replacing routines, or ending a session) requires your explicit, on-screen confirmation before execution. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming every proposed change.

Code and diagrams: Maestro may output code or diagrams upon request. The app merely displays them on screen and never executes that code.

3. Price

Core workout tracking is and will remain free: downloading TraceIron, logging unlimited sets, creating routines, viewing analytics, exporting data, and syncing with iCloud require no payment or subscription.

One-time theme purchases: we offer optional visual themes, such as Toxic, as one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases. Themes purchased separately belong to you permanently. You can restore purchases from Profile at any time using the Apple Account you purchased them with.

TraceIron+ subscription: we offer an auto-renewing monthly subscription (com.traceiron.plusapp.monthly) billed through the App Store. TraceIron+ includes access to Maestro and all paid themes while active. If the subscription is cancelled, included themes revert to the default theme, but you retain any separately purchased themes. New users may access a 7-day free trial (with 40 initial credits). After the trial, the subscription renews monthly at the price displayed in the app (reference: US$ 4.99 / S/ 14.90 per month; exact local pricing is shown prior to purchase).

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds (Apple Guideline 3.1.2): payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under App Store policies. Any price changes will be notified in advance in line with Apple guidelines.

Maestro credits and top-ups: each month of active subscription includes 300 credits that reset upon each renewal date and do not roll over. Each Maestro response deducts credits based on what it reads, writes, and the model steps required, without a flat rate per message. Optional 150-credit top-ups (com.traceiron.plusapp.credits150, consumable in-app purchase via the App Store) are available; top-up credits do not expire while your subscription remains active and are spent after monthly plan credits are exhausted. Credits carry no monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Usage is subject to rate and size limits per request to prevent abuse.

4. Shared content

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to share (routine and exercise names, and any associated notes). By sharing, you acknowledge that content becomes accessible via a public link to anyone who receives it.

You must not share content that infringes on the rights of others, contains sensitive information about another person, or is offensive, unlawful, or misleading.

5. Health disclaimer

TraceIron and Maestro are workout tracking and training support tools, not medical or physiotherapy services, and not a substitute for professional health advice.

Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition. 1RM estimates and Ghost Set projections are informational and do not replace supervision by a qualified professional.

Maestro outputs: Maestro uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) and its answers may be inaccurate or incomplete. Maestro does not diagnose or prescribe. If you experience pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort, or injury risk, immediately stop training and seek qualified professional medical help. You use the app and information provided by the AI at your own discretion and risk.

6. Limitation of liability

TraceIron and Maestro are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. The Maestro service depends on third-party providers (OpenAI, Cloudflare) and internet connectivity, and may experience temporary outages or model adjustments. In the event of unforeseen suspension or permanent discontinuation of the Maestro service, any refund request for unused subscription periods will be handled and resolved in accordance with Apple's App Store refund policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, injuries, or losses resulting from use of the app, AI responses, or actions confirmed by the user in the app.

Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including Peru's Consumer Protection and Defense Code (Law No. 29571).

7. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru, without prejudice to any rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
